General body meeting of the Bar members will be held on 13/02/2009 after the ceremony of power transfer to the newly elected members

The Executive Committee has appointed Adv. Vilakkudi Narendranathan nair as Returning Officers to conduct the election for new ABA executive committee for the period February 2009-February 2010.
The election will be held for the posts of President(1), Secretary(1) and Executive committee member (7)

Schedule of election:
1    Last date for receiving nominations     29th, Jan., 2009

2    Last date of withdrawal of nominations    06th, Feb., 2009

3    Last date of receipt of ballot papers    13th, Feb., 2009
6    Announcement of the results    13th, Feb., 2009

Nominations for all office bearers of the committee shall be made over the signatures of at least two members of ABA and written consent of the nominee will be necessary for each valid nomination.
The Returning Officer, after scrutiny shall prepare a ballot paper listing all eligible nominees for each post
